Define the rules

In the booking terms, you can configure how the customer has to pay the booking, how much they have to pay in case of a cancellation, and to provide your terms & conditions.

This configuration can be made per apartment through the API. In case this configuration is the same for all your apartments, this can also be configured on our side for your whole integration. Your Technical Account Manager can advise you on what makes the most sense in your situation.

Best practices to configure payment rates and cancellation conditions:

  • Charging 100% of the payment upfront has a negative impact on the booking rate. We advise you to keep it as much as possible in sync with the cancellation conditions.
  • In general, more flexible cancellation conditions lead to a higher ↑ booking rate.
  • Keep the terms and conditions simple, if customers do not understand them, they may harm the conversion.
