Facilities
Users choose their properties frequently by facilities. In order to increase the performance and avoid disappointments for the users, it is crucial that you push all available facilities with the most detailed information.
Facility objects
The most valuable fields for every facility are:
- facilityCharacteristic (facility ENUM): Important for us to actually map the facility to our model and show it if a user filters for it. You need to map all your facilities to our structure, otherwise it will not be shown.
- location: You can provide the information if the facility is actually in the apartment (like a pool) or if you want to point out that there is a pool nearby. This is important to avoid frustration from the user if they expect a pool at the apartment, but it is actually just very close.
- privateUsage: If you can offer some private facilities (like a private barbecue or even a private pool), you can push them as private.
- additional fields: There are many more additional fields that are important if your facilities are not free of charge or are only on demand. Please make sure to use all fields that are applicable to your facilities.
The average amount of faciltieis per property on Holidu is 13.

Sustainable facilities
In an effort to promote sustainability, Holidu will be promoting sustainable friendly properties. To be qualified as sustainable, a property needs at least 8 facilities from the list below.
When doing so, Holidu will be adding a Eco badge to the property, both on list and detail pages :
